Restricted Countries
River Valley Capital cannot accept, fund or pay out traders who are resident in, or trading from, any of the following countries:
- Pakistan
- Russia
- Cuba
- Sudan
- Somalia
- Iran
- Lebanon
- Syria
- Libya
- Vietnam
If you are resident in, or trading from, any of these countries, you will not be able to complete identity verification or receive a payout, so please do not purchase a challenge.
Why These Countries Are Restricted
The restrictions come from the sanctions, regulatory and payment-provider requirements River Valley Capital must follow. Several of these jurisdictions are subject to international sanctions programmes, and others are restricted by the banking and payment partners that process funding and payouts. In each case we are not able to legally or practically onboard and pay traders there.
These requirements can change over time. This list is current as of October 2026; if your country's status changes, the list here will be updated.
How the Restriction Is Applied
You can browse, buy and start trading from almost anywhere, with worldwide checkout. The eligibility check happens at identity verification (KYC), which is required when you request your first withdrawal. At that point your identity and location are confirmed, and accounts linked to a restricted country cannot be verified or paid out.
This is why it matters to check the list before you buy: a challenge fee is non-refundable, so if you are in a restricted country you would not be able to complete KYC or receive a payout. For the full account-opening requirements, including age and the contracting entity, see the prop firm eligibility page.
If Your Country Is Not on the List
The vast majority of countries are not affected at all. Traders across Europe, the UK, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas trade River Valley Capital accounts, and we maintain dedicated guides for many of them with local detail on regulators, tax and reset times.
